Attention NYC Candidates! Seeking BQNOW Endorsement?

The Brooklyn Queens Chapter of the National Organization for Women conducts ongoing screening for candidates seeking office in NYC.

We are a grass roots, civil rights organization dedicated to and advocating for women’s rights issues. Our major issues are:

• Putting the Equal Rights Amendment into the U.S. Constitution
• Protecting full reproductive rights
• Ending discrimination based on gender and sexual orientation
• Stopping violence against women
• Gaining economic equality and opportunity

Attached is our updated 2023 BQNOW Candidate Questionnaire. It is geared toward the upcoming NYC Council & District Attorney Races.  If interested in seeking the endorsement of Brooklyn Queens NOW, please complete the questionnaire and email to infobqnow1@gmail.com to be be considered for a screening interview and endorsement.  The deadline for candidate response is May 31st.
